On May 17, we flew to Monroe Lake to get it ready for the first fishermen. The snow was melting and Bill carried the portage motor for West Lake across the portage.

The next day at Red Lake. The weight of the snow is actually enough to sink the airplane. Bill removed the snow several times.

We had a short window to get Unnamed ready for the Crabb party leaving Green Airways on May 14.

On May 12, we went to Unnamed Lake to get it ready for the first group of fishermen. The picture below was taken on our return to Red Lake. Howey bay still has a large area of ice.

On May 11, we launched the aircraft at Howey bay. Bill had to taxi through the ice a few times to break it up a bit and then take off.
